Established In 2013, Firswood Tuition Centre was founded by qualified professionals that teach academic excellence.

Our tutors believe that the foundation to success is a strong and concrete mindset. FTC tutors work to instil a growth mindset, whilst teaching the methods and techniques required to succeed in today’s academic climate.

We believe in a shared community responsibility to educate the youth, whilst instilling their want to educate themselves.

Some students have never truly experienced an 11+ exam environment and the pressures that come with it.

All FTC students are trained to be able to focus, regardless of the circumstances. By holding regular mock exams, our students practise their ability to focus and overcome any negative emotions that may influence their performance.

After narrowly missing the grade boundaries for the 11+ examinations, she confidently took the opportunity to join us at FTC to start her next journey.

Alishwa completed our 12+ exam preparation programme where she persevered, practiced, and prepared herself for the 12+ examinations.

Not only did she score well above and beyond the boundaries, she was granted a place at the very same grammar school she initially missed out on.

SGS Assembly March 2019

Azhar and Haseeb were invited to speak at the Stretford Grammar School assembly today to a fantastic Year 11 group.

Topics were focussed around recognising your own potential and developing the right mindset with visualisation exercises in the run up to the upcoming GCSE exams.

Firswood Community Fair 2018

Haseeb and Azhar created the Fortnite Target Practice Challenge for the Firswood Community Fair and it was a huge success. Children flocked to test their Nerf skills after earning their Nerf bullets by first answering a bunch of maths questions. Successful shots on target earned prizes!
Whoever thought Fortnite and Maths practice could go together in one sentence?!
